goat sculpture and cheese...

Goat sculpture at Main Ridge Dairy, Main Ridge on the Mornington Peninsula...

The goat sculpture is just beyond the scenic outdoor area for cheese tasting...

The building offers an intimate, atmospheric experience...

The goat cheese platter is beautifully presented...
If cheeses are tasted from top left clockwise, then cheese + name and description
can be identified on the accompanying list...
(I adored the top left cashmere cheese with shredded beetroot,
but all of the cheeses were delightful....)
Of course, we selected some accompanying wine...

And outside, the goats didn't mind a little appreciation too...

Peter Pan...

Peter Pan statue at Melbourne Zoo...
The statue was commissioned in 1926 by Melbourne's  Alderman Charles Jeffries
to commemorate his 31 years as a councillor.
It was designed by Paul Montford and features native Australian animals.
The statue was first placed in Alexandra Gardens, then moved to the conservatory in the Fitzroy Gardens,
but climactic conditions were not kind to the statue.
Finally, the statue found its new home at the Melbourne Zoo in 1993.
